Happy Birthday, Elijáš!!!

Elijáš turned 7 !!! This year his birthday was on Saturday so they all got up early with Tim to open a present before he had to go to work. And while daddy was having a breakfast fit for a king ;-) Eli opened his HUGE present! When he saw it he thought it was a motorcycle !;-) But then it got smaller ....

Eli wanted to have a lunch at Cassoulet which is one of our favorite spots here in Lynden. A tiny gourmet restaurant with great food! So I took him there....hey...It's his birthday! And he could have ANYTHING on the menu!



And they both  chose hamburgers !!! They loved it!  Lucie was sitting in a huge chair and chewing beef, eggs, salad, pickles and raw vegetables. Singing and clapping her hands to the French music. SO much fun with these kiddos! 






And Sunday was a perfect day to have a construction theme party with great friends! Meredy gave birth to a baby girl the very next day! I cannot believe it! Beautiful mamas!


Some food to dig in! 


  Construction theme party is so easy to pull together when dad is the construction man! He brought hard hats, signs, caution tape, tools etc to use in obstacle course relay. It was really fun! Thanks, dad! You rock!















This year I went easy on a cake and made Americas's Test Kitchen (what!?! I haven't told you about it yet? stay tuned...it deserves a post) chocolate sheet cake and Tim helped me decorate it. We loved the cake and so did the kiddos!

Welcome Charlotte Joy!

 One one the last pregnancy shots (I have two) before our baby girl was born. 39 weeks and 5 days. It was a beautiful home birth and we praise the Lord for another healthy baby girl! The Birthday Boy!

Eli turned 9! It is hard to believe! We had a small family celebration with a very berry summer cake and some go cart races! He got a remote control car, a multi tool set and  a set of golf clubs. Tim needed a golf buddy so it worked out perfectly! Happy Birthday, Eli!
