Encore! and more...

Wanna guess where I am on this BIG weekend morning?
Yes, that's correct. I am  hanging out at home sitting on a couch drinking homemade creamy delicious chai tea, thinking of all the wonderful things we can do together with my kids - like making lotion bars or candles! Our new product addition!
I am pretty sure that nothing could get me to drive to town today! Absolutely nothing!
But, that doesn't mean that we won't be taking advantage of some of the amazing deals I am finding online - and they are even sweeter because I don't have to:
(a) Get all dressed up and the kids (quite a chore;-)!
(b) Get up early to get the best deals.
It's raining outside and I thought it also would be a good day to update our blog a little bit!
First of all let me tell you about Eli's amazing piano performance at Jansen Art Center a couple of weeks ago!  This  Art Center puts on Youth Concert Series  every "Sunday @ 3" featuring local young musicians, dancers & singers including world class guest artists. Yep, Eli performed with dad their lively duet Syncopated Sam. Sorry no video but here is at least a couple of pics! It was a flawless performance for both of them and we were quite proud! To God be all the Glory!

Mt Baker opened the day before Thanksgiving! and since we got skis for Sofia this year we simply could not resist and headed out to Baker to have some family fun in the snow! It was a great day! A nice warm sunny day, low snow conditions and literally NO lines! Sofia did great and Eli and I were all over the place falling down like ripe pears! ha! I guess low snow conditions means rocks, grass and tree tops on slopes! Yep, I learned that lesson for sure!:-) We are looking forward to a great ski season! and more snow....

Talking Turkey and all the trimmings! We had a wonderful relaxing day cooking up a feast!
classic roasted turkey
pan giblets gravy
cinnamon cranberry sauce
apple, sausage and cranberry stuffing with homemade sourdough
 roasted brussel sprouts
creamy sweet potato gratin
creamy mashed potatoes
fresh green salad
kimchi
mango kombucha
apple pie

The turkey looks burnt in these pictures but it was not!:-) Just not a good lighting!
Really;-)

Here is a true pic of our bird!;-)

Hope you all had fun too! A lot to be thankful for!
Glad you stopped by! Come again!
