Summer!!! Leto!!!
Ohhhh how we love summer here! So much fun and so many things to do-like camping! We did our first camping trip of the year on the 4th of July weekend and went west of Wintrop to Buck Lake camp - off the path camp site with a nice lake. On the way there we stopped for ice cream - blueberry was our favorite -at Cascadia Farms(off North Cascade Hwy). I won't forget Sofia's face when I handed her the "kiddy" cone with a scoop of ice cream bigger than her face - well almost! The girl thought she is in heaven! ha!

TO JSTE MELI VIDET, JAK SOFINKA VYKULILA OCI, KDYZ JSEM JI PODALA KORNOUT SE ZMRZLINU - PRIPADALA SI URCITE JAKO V NEBI! HAHAHA!
Nothing like hot dogs on a camp fire! It never fills us up so we always have sausage for a dessert! Love family traditions! BURTY NA OHNI JSOU NEJLEPSI. A JAKO DEZERT - OPECENA KLOBASA - NASE RODINNA TRADICE!
There was a nice bike trail (16 miles) around the Buck Lake so we took Eli on his first challenging bike trip and he did great!!! KOLEM JEZERA, KDE JSME STANOVALI, VEDLA HEZKA CYKLOSTEZKA, A TAK JSME VYRAZILI! TO BYL ELIJASKUV PRVNI VELKY VYLET NA KOLE, PEKNE SLAPAL SAM CELYCH 12 KILOMETRU!
Snack time before the big hill! SVACINKA PRED PRUDKYM KOPCEM!
The kiddos cooled off in the lake while dad tried to catch dinner! We should have taken our kayak! Next time! DETI SE VYKOUPALY V JEZERE A TIM SE SNAZIL CHYTIT NECO K VECERI. KEZ BYCHOM S SEBOU VZALI KAJAK!
A good breakfast cooked by dad before we head home! Bacon and eggs of course! PORADNA SNIDANE PRED CESTOU DOMU!
On the way back home we hiked Cutthroat Lake trail. Sofia's FIRST real hike! She did excellent! She loves to walk! It was a four mile round trip through a beautiful forest with a nice river. NA ZPATECNI CESTE JSME SE ZASTAVILI NA MALOU TURU K HORSKEMU JEZERU. SOFINAK SLAPALA SKORO CELOU CESTU!
We even ran into some snow up there! NARAZILI JSME I NA SNIH!
And here is our reward! A TADY JE NASE ODMENA!
