Summer Fun Part 2

I can't believe my last post is dated August 12! What happened?!? Ok. I do have a few solid excuses like: mom and dad's visit, sick and pregnant, and working on final proofing of the Czech version of Good & Evil. Mom and dad are back home, I am not sick anymore (Praise the Lord!) and I am DONE with the translation! So let's get back to blogging!
Mom and dad's visit was wonderful! What a blessing to have them here! Eli and Sofia enjoyed them so much. They played so nicely with them - lots of chasing, racing, wrestling, reading, coloring, walking, biking and all the fun things you do with kids. I especially appreciated their cooking and taking care of the garden while I was sick. Oh, what a blessing!
They came for 3 weeks and here is what we did:
A nice warm welcome at the airport (sorry, no leis;-))

This was a really nice hike in Mount Baker area. Walking in snow in August is always an adventure! A beautiful place that speaks of God's glory! My folks can really appreciate it!

What a view!

Sofi and Eli got to sled for a while too!

Peace Arch Park in Blaine on US/ Canada border.

We did a few hikes in old grown forests around here. My folks know a lot about fauna and flora so it's always a learning experience! Great homeschooling!

And a little bit of home entertainment!
To be continued...check back soon!
