Hot days, cool nights, swimming and hiking with friends, learning new things, enjoying fresh veggies and more! We love summer! A nice three mile hike with our friends! We saw a lot of birds and slugs!  Here they are glazing their handmade pottery! Good morning, Lucie! You sure are our sunshine! For this smile I would do anything in the world! Hot summer days help make a great loaf of sourdough! Swimming in a pool was so much fun!  Our staple summer side dish! Fresh kale and beans with bacon, garlic and cream! Ready to hear a sermon!  Happy hikers!

with friends, great music and wonderful food! This was a Customer Appreciation Party that our dear friends the Felmleys put on last weekend. We sure felt appreciated and pampered. The food was wholesome and delicious, the fellowship sweet and the music just plain wonderful. Thank you, friends! You rock!

In Anacortes on the highest mountain there with stunning views!

On a three day weekend we made a day trip to Whidbey island where we visited Fort Casey State Park. It was a HOT day and the park offered a really nice breeze as we walked through the fortifications and enjoyed the sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains.  Lucie travelled very well and enjoyed the trip with us. Look at Eli! He is a real tourist! 10-inch Disappearing Carriage Rifle  Admiralty Head Lighthouse is now an interpretive center and gift shop. What a cute design! After a history lesson the kiddos enjoyed fresh water in Deer Lake. While Lucie chilled on the beach with mommy.  Enjoying a cute beach town Langley and nice views of the ocean.  And dinner at one of the Langley's great restaurants! A little walk along the coast after a good dinner!  The winner takes all!  God's glory!
